COMPETITION RULES
ART. 1 - ANNOUNCEMENT OF COMPETITION
The Competition is open to young musicians of both sexes and of any nationality.
ART. 2 - CATEGORIES
There are 2 categories:
- Cat. A participants born from the 1st January 2005
- Cat. B participants born from the 1st January 1995
It is possible to register for only one category.
ART. 3 - APPLICATIONS FOR REGISTRATIONS
The application form is available on the Parish’s website www.parrocchia-bibione.org and must be completed, signed and sent to the following e-mail address
- copy of an ID card;
- program of each round (for Cat. A single program)
Only the first 15 registrations for category A and the first 10 registrations for category B will be accepted, in order of arrival.
Applications not meeting the above requirements will not be accepted.
The Secretariat may, in its opinions, cancel the competition for a category due to a small number of registered competitors. In the event that the applications received for a category are lower than the maximum indicated in the call, the possibility of compensation with the category that have received the most requests is provided for, in compliance with the age limits set out in art. 2.
Candidates admitted to the Competition will be notified by the 20th April 2025 and may regularize their registration paying the registration fee by the 28th April 2025, then sending the receipt of payment by e-mail to:

ART. 5 - ARTICULATION OF THE COMPETITION
The competition will consist of a single round for category A and of a first round, semifinal round and final round for category B.
A maximum of 3 competitors will be admitted to the final of category B, which will take place in the form of a public concert on Friday 16th May 2025 at 20.30. The audience present for the entire duration of the final round will have the opportunity to vote to award the Special Audience Award.
The voting procedures for the public will be illustrated before the final round takes place.
All the competition rounds are public.
Candidates will have the opportunity to try the instrument in the days before the Competition, according to the calendar published on the Parish’s website www.parrocchia-bibione.org
External teachers and/or assistants for the organ stops are not allowed to be present at rehearsals. The Secretariat will provide an assistant for the organ stops for all candidates.
Performances that exceed the maximum duration indicated for each round may be interrupted by the Jury.
Each competitor admitted to the Competition must provide the Secretariat with a copy of the pieces of his/her program in pdf format by the 28th April 2025.
The results of the first round and of the semifinal round of category B will be communicated at the end of the round itself.
Winners’ announcement of categories A and B and the awarding of prizes will take place at the end of the final round of category B, on Friday 16th May 2025.
The prizes of category B will be awarded by adding up the scores obtained in the first and final rounds.
All competitors will receive a certificate of participation.
The Jury reserves the right not to award the prizes in case of failure to reach an adequate artistic and musical level.
The competitors of category A and those not admitted to the semifinal round and final round of category B will be able to contact Jury members after the communication of the results. Finalists will be able to contact Jury members after the award ceremony.
ART. 6 - COSTS FOR CANDIDATES
Travel and accommodation costs are to be borne by the competitors.
There is the possibility of free accommodation with kitchen, provided by Bibione Parish upon request of candidates.
ART. 7 - PRIZES
For category A there will be 2 Prizes of Euro 300,00 each.
For category B there will be:
- First Prize of Euro 1.500,00
- Second Prize of Euro 850,00
- Third Prize of Euro 500,00
- a special Audience Prize of Euro 200,00 awarded to one of the finalists
Category A winner holders may be invited to perform in:
- XVII International Organ Friulian Festival G.B. Candotti 2025/26 (Udine - Italy)
The winners of category B may be invited to perform in one or more concerts in:
- Concert season 2026 S. Maria Assunta in Bibione
- XVII International Organ Friulian Festival G.B. Candotti 2025/26 (Udine - Italy)
- Altolivenza Festival Giovani (Pordenone - Italy)
ART. 8 - EXECUTION PROGRAM
The Competition will take place on the Zanin organ with 3 manuals and electric console.
Cat. A
- Single round: free choice program suitable for the timbral characteristics of the instrument, lasting a minimum of 25 to a maximum of 30 minutes, that includes:
F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy: a Sonata chosen from n. I, IV and VI - op. 65
Cat. B
- First round: free choice program suitable for the timbral characteristics of the instrument, lasting a minimum of 25 to a maximum of 30 minutes, that includes:
J.S. Bach: a piece chosen from BWV 540 - 544 - 548 - Semi-final round: free choice program suitable for the timbral characteristics of the instrument, lasting a minimum of 25 to a maximum of 30 minutes, that includes:
R. Schumann: da Sechs Studien in kanonischer Form op. 56:
n. 4 (Innig) e n. 5 (Nicht zu schnell)
oder
R. Schumann: da Sechs Fugen über den Namen BACH op. 60:
n. 5 (Lebhaft) e n. 6 (Mässig, nach und nach schneller) - Final round: free choice program suitable for the timbral characteristics of the instrument, lasting
a minimum of 25 to a maximum of 30 minutes, that includes one of the following pieces:
- W.A. Mozart: Fantasia in F minor, K.608
- C. Franck: Choral n° 2 en si mineur
- M.E. Bossi: Thème et Variations, op. 115
ART. 9 - JURY
The Jury will be composed of:

Jury members who have had teaching relations with competitors from 1st January 2024 or in existence will be excluded from the evaluation of the relative candidate; upon establishment of the Committee, every member will sign a statement to this respect.
ART. 10
Jury’s judgement is final and unappealable. The judgement of each individual round is expressed in arithmetic score as the sum of the votes cast by the individual commissioners. For the evaluation criteria and procedures, the Jury will draw up specific Regulations at the beginning of the competition.
ART. 11
Instrument rehearsal times for each individual round of the Competition will be displayed on Parish’s website www.parrocchia-bibione.org by the 28th April 2025.
Personal data and any other element learnt by Bibione Parish are subject to confidentiality and processed in respect of personal rights.
Pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, personal data provided at the time of registration will be kept and processed by Bibione Parish and used exclusively to send
communications regarding participation in the Competition and Parish’s informative material.
Data will be processed exclusively by any managers and/or appointees.
The communication and dissemination of data may only take place for the purposes indicated.
ART. 12 – ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES
Bibione Parish, organizer of the competition, decline responsibilities for any eventual risk or damage, of every kind, to people and things, during all the competition and even during the travel or during the permanence.
Registration to the competition implies unconditional acceptance of the rules herein. In the event of contestations, the Italian text will be legally binding.
ART. 13
In the eventuality of radio or TV recording/broadcasts, candidates waive the right of remuneration from them. During the competition performances unauthorised recordings are not allowed. During the Competition, registrations by the public present or by the candidates themselves are not allowed (under penalty of exclusion from the Competition).
